With a capacity of 90,000, Wembley is the biggest stadium in the UK and one of most famous and recognisable names in sport. Rebuilt and reopened in 2007, the stadium has been the catalyst for mass regeneration in the wider Wembley area. The now iconic arch towers over the playing surface which is home to the England national team and FA Cup and League Cup finals, as well as the annual NFL match-ups. Since opening, Wembley has hosted two Champions League finals and will host both semi-finals and the final of Euro 2020.
Facilities on offer to UCFB students within the stadium include:
• Classrooms and auditoriums, many of which overlook the famous turf, including Pitch View West;
• Executive boxes on levels three and four of the stadium play host to seminars;
• The Danny Fullbrook Auditorium is the Wembley press box on event day and doubles into a UCFB classrooms during term time;
• A state-of-the-art TV studio enables media students to hone their skills in front of and behind the camera.
