Item 1

UCFB's groundbreaking agreement with The National League provides students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience across the league’s 68 clubs and its three divisions.

As part of the deal, UCFB became lead partner of The National League U19 Alliance, further strengthening the institution’s commitment and ties to the English football pyramid. This aspect of the partnership provides a clear pathway for the U19 Alliance’s school and college student-athletes to progress onto higher education at UCFB.

Work experience opportunities for UCFB at National League clubs will include the chance to film and produce footage for North and South matches televised on BT Sport in the weekly National League Highlights Show.

The partnership also allows students the opportunity to gain experience in their fields of study including football marketing, psychology, coaching and event management.

This partnership will give UCFB students unparalleled access to clubs around the country in a wide range of departments which will supplement their studies perfectly, as well as giving them the best possible chance of a successful career once they graduate. Our lead partner role with the National League U19 Alliance will be extremely valuable for students in that league also, providing these ambitious young players an exciting route to study a university degree in the global football and sports industry.
